Presenting an educational model of the lived experience of successful men: Qualitative grounded theory study

Abstract

Aim: The purpose of the present study was to provide a model of the lived experience of successful men. Metod: This research was conducted in a qualitative manner using the data theory method. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling method and until reaching theoretical saturation, finally, 15 successful men were interviewed semi-structured and analyzed using Charms (2014) method. Results: In the first step, the educational components of successful men in six categories of family value system, cognitive flexibility, optimal functioning, authoritative parenting style, powerful parenting, and positive management of parent-child relationships were extracted as the main axis and in the second step, four components of family and individual factors, Social and educational were identified as the main axes of the root of training successful men. In the third step, two important sources of growth history and constructive lifestyle were identified as the underlying mechanisms for success. Conclusion: In order to provide the grounds for successful upbringing in children, parents need to pay attention to the principles and methods in upbringing and its requirements, and according to them, to address the important issue of raising children.
