In this research, the examination of premarital counseling gap in the family support law was put on the agenda. method: This research is fundamental-applied and was carried out in a descriptive analytical way. Documentary-library information method and note-taking tool were used to collect information. Findings: The Family Protection Law was approved in 2011 and it has considered specific legal instructions for different aspects of the family. But in some important areas, this law seems to have shortcomings.
