Aim: The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Adlerian therapy in improving the quality of life of divorced women. Methods: The present quasi-experimental study was a pretest-posttest with experimental and control groups and its statistical population consisted of 30 divorced women. Using the random sampling method, we assigned them to experimental (n=15) and control (n=15) groups. The women in the experimental group underwent the group Adlerian therapy intervention in six 90-minute sessions. The research instrument included the World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) questionnaire that was completed by both groups in the pretest and posttest. We analyzed data using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). Results: The results indicated that the Adlerian therapy intervention was effective in improving quality of life (P<0.001, F= 202.83) in women in the experimental group. Conclusion: Adlerian therapy improved quality of life scores compared to the control group. According to the research findings, Adlerian therapy was effective in improving the quality of life.
