Modeling teachers' career enthusiasm based on job redesign and emotional creativity mediated by critical thinking

This study aimed to model teachers' job satisfaction based on job redesign and emotional creativity mediated by critical thinking in elementary school teachers in Barkhar city. The study was a descriptive-survey study in terms of its applied purpose and its nature of implementation. The statistical population of the study included all elementary school teachers in Barkhar city. According to the announcement of the Education Department of Barkhar city, the number of elementary school teachers was 270. In this study, the entire statistical population was selected as a sample and the sampling method was carried out as a total number sampling method. Research data were collected using the April (1999) Emotional Creativity Questionnaire, Slump and Vella Broderick's (2013) Job Redesign, California Fashion's Critical Thinking (1990) and Salonava and Schoeffley's (2001) Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and SmartPLS software. The results of the study showed that emotional creativity has a significant relationship with job enthusiasm by 19.1% and with critical thinking by 38.4% of elementary school teachers in Borkhor. Also, critical thinking mediates the relationship between emotional creativity and job enthusiasm by 23.9% and the relationship between job redesign and job enthusiasm by 29.8% in elementary school teachers in Borkhor. The results showed that job redesign has a significant relationship with enthusiasm by 13.8% and with critical thinking by 47.8% of elementary school teachers in Borkhor.
