Article Processing Charge (APC) Update
Notice: Starting from Volume 9, Issue 3 (Second Half of 2026), the Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts accepted for publication in the International Journal of Sport Studies for Health (IntJSSH) will be updated to €1000. This revision reflects the journal’s continued commitment to improving publication quality and international visibility, including: Enhancement of editorial and peer-review services Expansion of international indexing and visibility Professional language editing and publication standards Strengthening publication ethics and research integrity processes Development of digital publishing infrastructure and long-term archiving services Increasing operational costs associated with high-quality open-access publishing IntJSSH remains committed to providing a rigorous, transparent, and internationally recognized platform for scientific dissemination in the field of sport and health sciences. The updated APC will apply only to manuscripts submitted from the effective date onward.
Official APC Update Announcement APC Revision Announcement The Editorial Office of the International Journal of Sport Studies for Health (IntJSSH) would like to inform authors, reviewers, and readers that, effective from Volume 9, Issue 3 (2026), the Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts will be revised to €1000. This decision has been made in line with the journal’s continuous development strategy and recent progress in international scientific visibility and publication standards. Over recent years, IntJSSH has expanded its international reach through improved editorial quality, wider indexing visibility, strengthened peer-review processes, and increased international collaboration. The APC revision will support: Maintaining and improving high-quality peer-review and editorial services Enhancing international indexing, discoverability, and scientific visibility Professional English editing, formatting, and publication workflows Strengthening publication ethics, plagiarism screening, and research integrity standards Expanding digital archiving and long-term accessibility infrastructure Supporting the journal’s internationalization and sustainable open-access publishing model As a Q2-indexed journal in SCImago/Scopus-related rankings, IntJSSH remains committed to providing a rigorous, transparent, and internationally recognized platform for researchers in sport sciences and health-related disciplines.
